With the current economic climate and teh events of the past 12 months, the boomer retirement "boom" is perhaps being put at bay ever so briefly.
This has the potential to make it more challenging for those companies to realize that it will going to shift to becoming an employee's market in the near future. Companies experiencing the huge influx of Resumes for one position, and hiring people at lower wages need to be prepared to make the shift at a strategic time to preserve their talent resources from jumping ship for the next best offer once it comes along.
